Gastric Banding Hypnosis

Look & Feel AMAZING in a bikini!! : )

Recently I attended a workshop on Gastric Banding Hypnosis. The workshop was held in Brisbane, QLD and was run by Sheila Granger from the UK. Gastric Banding Hypnotherapy is extremely popular overseas and is only just beginning to become recognised as an effective means of helping people lose weight. The process for both hypnotist and client are similar to that of a weightloss hypnotherapy, however typical results show weightloss of 3.2kgs in the first week which is slightly higher than the average for other weightloss therapy. I have found that the two work remarkably well together and subsequent weeks clients can expect to lose 1-2kgs per week, healthily and maintain it until they reach their ideal weight where they remain.

Typically clients report that the changes occur fairly easily and are incorporated into their lives seamlessly.

The training recommended 8 Guidelines for Success …

1. Buy something new to wear – in the size that you will be when you have let go of that excess weight

2. Listen to the recording

3.  Eat slowly and consciously

4. Stop eating as soon as you feel comfortable

5. Eat only 3 small meals per day

6. Buy and take some multi-vitamins

7. Drink plenty of fluids and drink only low calorie liquids

8. Exercise

These guidelines will be explained in more detail in therapy and have been included here for your interest.

I wish you all the best for your continued movement towards health and happiness : )

Really interesting post Michelle! Thank you for sharing. So I take it when you perform  'Gastric Banding Hypnosis' you and/or the hypnosis recording are actually “suggesting” to the client that they have a gastric band? How does this work exactly? Curious is all.

Hi JD .. yes that is correct. I suggest to the client that they now have a gastric band. Therefore they are unable to eat the same amounts of food as before.. smaller portions, healthier food. WINNING combo. Great success rates with this therapy.
